Still Thinking Things Will Slow Down Next Week?

Have you ever noticed how “next week” is supposed to fix everything?
I’ll rest next week.
I’ll exercise next week.
I’ll start that project next week.
I’ve been saying some version of that for years.
Here’s what I’ve learned.
Life doesn’t magically slow down.
If anything, it speeds up.
The people who seem the most grounded aren’t waiting for life to become less busy.
They’ve decided what matters before the week begins.
I’m still practicing that.
Some weeks I do it well. Other weeks I catch myself hoping for a future that never arrives.
That’s usually my reminder to stop waiting and start choosing.
Your Rethink Moment
